First you will need:
- A mason jar
- Painter’s tape
- A Paper-knife / scissor or a paper shaper would be more preferred
- Chalk paint at any color you like
- A candle

Step 1: Draw (This step can be skipped if you have a paper shaper available at hand)
Draw a heart shape on the tape.
Step 2: Cut & Stick
Use anything you prepared to cut out a heart-shaped piece of tape then stick it on the jar’s external surface.
Step 3: Paint
Spray chalk paint all over the jar and wait for it to dry.
Step 4: Peel
Take the heart-shaped piece of tape out.
Step 5: Insert the candle
Put a candle into the jar and now you have a stunning yet simple hand-made candle holder.
