Being able to spend every day with my little baby and see her develop as a stay at home parent has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I’ve never missed a milestone, and I’m raising the world’s biggest mommies daughter (yeah me!).
Although being a stay at home parent has been an incredible experience for me, being cooped up in the house every day sometimes feel lonely. I have an incredible boyfriend who supports me and the most gorgeous young child who keeps me on my toes at all times of the day, but being alone in the house when it’s quiet can be psychologically draining.
That is not the reality I desire for myself, as much as I like watching TV shows and resting. I can’t help but worry about how much time I’m squandering, and how I won’t have this much time to discover myself in the future.
That’s when I realized that writing was a terrific method for me to express myself and give me a daily chore. Hobbies were never a priority in my life until I discovered how much I needed one.

Being a stay-at-home mom is a demanding job. There’s always something to clean or prepare, whether or not you have the most well-behaved child, and you want to use any opportunity to rest. But what happens when your binge-watching session comes to a close?
No, it isn’t the end of the world.
The duties will eventually be completed, and when there is nothing left for you to do, have a backup plan that you can focus on.

Being a mother was something that came effortlessly to me. It’s something I like doing and am quite proud of. I often wonder if I’ll ever be able to do anything else as well as I do mothering.

It’s perfectly fine to merely work on a pastime for joy, but other people may choose to turn their time and effort into money, which is advantageous in many ways!
Open your mind
Have you ever felt that you spend your days as a stay-at-home parent largely talking to a baby and singing the Daniel tiger songs over and over in your head?
Social engagement becomes less and less important, and it almost appears that you lose the ability to converse with grownups. My baby child and her most recent discoveries are the only things I find myself talking about these days. Yes, it is an excellent topic to discuss; but, how many milestones does my child truly accomplish each week?
Having a pastime provides you something to talk about with other people, especially if you don’t have children, since some people can’t connect to that.
Find someone who enjoys the same pastime as you and connect with them! It will assist you in keeping your social skills up to date.
Relax & keep your sanity
Do you ever had the feeling that you’re hearing a sobbing baby in your head while your infant is completely comfortable and not even screaming? You could start to believe you’re going insane since the sound is like a broken record playing!
When you’re a mother, keeping your sanity is crucial, especially if you’re a stay-at-home mom whose full-time job is raising a child.
They say that a happy mommy equals a happy baby (and even a happy husband), and that if mother isn’t happy, no one else is either.
Spending some time alone working on a project or simply doing something you enjoy may be really calming. It has a way of lulling your head into the space it needs to be in as a full-time mother. Even if it’s only for 30 minutes, it’s vital to divert your attention away from the infant!

Your kid should be your first priority (if not your only focus), but don’t forget to take care of yourself every now and then.
